  First time I’ve been to Orpington Eyecare and it was an excellent experience. Got an appointment really quickly, the staff were very friendly and welcoming and the shop was not busy, which made me feel at ease. I’ve had 4 months of irritated eyes and have seen various medical professionals, with no improvement until now. Mr Patel got to the bottom of the problem and prescribed the necessary. 10 out of 10, have already recommended to family. Thank you!

  I woke up yesterday morning with a vision problem that I suspected might be a detached retina. I called the Orpington Eye Centre and got an appointment same day. Mr Patel examined me and confirmed my worst fears. He immediately called the hospital and I was seen at Kings College first thing this morning. I’m booked in for surgery on Friday. I want to thank Mr Patel for his diagnosis and for seeing me and referring me so quickly. Your eyesight is so important, so it’s great to know you have a good team behind you. The important takeaway is that if you suffer any vision problems or a change in your vision don’t waste time, go and see your optician as quickly as possible as time is of the essence.

  Hi. Very happy with the service I received here. The optician answered all of my questions with clear answers and gave me a clear description of the state of my vision. I am not quite ready for spectacles but when I do feel I need them I will definitely be returning here. Excellent

  Sudden eye problem - referred by Doctor's surgery. Seen same day. Very professional. Felt as though I was in good safe hands. Excellent!

  Well organised, friendly and professional opticians. My first encounter with them was via an emergency appointment. My daughter (aged 8) managed to get some grit in her eyes while walking down the high street and it was quite painful as, understandably she kept rubbing her eyes. After visiting 2 local health care providers who both refused to see her as we didn’t have an appointment, we came across Orpington Eyecare centre and the owner thankfully fitted us in immediately in between patients. Mr Patel is a brilliant practitioner with dedicated, caring staff. We will be using this opticians going forward. This is an independent opticians and the quality of care is evident. I highly recommend.

  The eye test was extremely thorough and the optician took care in providing information and asking questions. The front-of-house customer service was personable and excellent and the high quality range of frames and lenses available allows a wide choice of styles to suit all.

  An efficient and professional service. I’ve tried other opticians on Orpington High Street and this one is by far the best.

  Another well organised appointment by Orpington Eyecare with friendly and engaging staff saw the delivery and fitting of 2 out of 3 glasses recently ordered. The 3rd pair didn’t pass their quality control due to a chip on one of the lenses provided by the manufacturer - so it was sent back for replacement which I am due to receive in the next week or so. This is how customer service should be ??

  Very welcoming and professional service. Good experience during my visits. I needed new lenses in my existing frames. First attempt did not work but 2nd set were spot on. Had to wait 4 weeks to get my glasses finally upgraded with new lenses but I was fortunate to have a 2nd pair. Despite this minor set back, I would definitely recommend this optician for their expertise and courtesy. I was a new customer and, for any future visits, I expect that they will know my requirements and provide perfect lenses first time around. No hesitation in returning in the future.
