Amazing experience. I saw 2 opticians before moving to Orpington and attending Orpington Eyecare center. The other opticians gave me drops to treat my symptoms, without much success. Orpington Eyecare did a thorough examination and gave me treatment for the SOURCE of my problem. Within 3 days I was feeling better than I had in months. Also a very fast service. I was able to get an appointment the day I called and was seen within 5 minutes of arriving.

The whole experience from booking an appointment, through the eye test, to selecting and finally picking up my new prescription spectacles has been highly professional, courteous and friendly. Fantastic opticians. The eye tests are very thorough and the advice on the latest eyewear tech is second to none. The miyosmart lenses recommended for my daughter have made a real difference — her prescription has barely changed since. I woke up yesterday morning with a vision problem that I suspected might be a detached retina. I called the Orpington Eye Centre and got an appointment same day. Mr Patel examined me and confirmed my worst fears. He immediately called the hospital and I was seen at Kings College first thing this morning. I’m booked in for surgery on Friday. I want to thank Mr Patel for his diagnosis and for seeing me and referring me so quickly. Your eyesight is so important, so it’s great to know you have a good team behind you. The important takeaway is that if you suffer any vision problems or a change in your vision don’t waste time, go and see your optician as quickly as possible as time is of the essence.

I have a problem with one of my eyes of which I was very worried about. I initially contacted another optician that I've been with for a number of years, only to be told that next avaliable appointment was in December. I then contacted Orpington Eyecare Centre. I was offered a telephone consultation with Mr Patel. After various in depth questions and answers, Mr Patel concluded and put my mind at rest with a diagnosis. I forwarded some photographs of my eye,via email, in which I received a prompt response confirming same. Mr Patel answered all my questions in great detail and care. I would like to take this opportunity in thanking The Orpington Eyecare Centre, and will definitely recommend them to my family and friends.
