  • I recently attended Orpington Eyecare and Hearing Centre as I have cataracts and the sight in one eye in particular was becoming extremely blurred. I explained this when I rang and was given a convenient appointment to suit me and advised what to expect. The Centre is Covid-19 safe. I was seen by Mr. Patel and my eyes given a thorough examination. Mr. Patel explained his findings clearly to me and recommended he refer me to a hospital eye clinic and asked where I'd like to be referred. He then emailed the referral through immediately to my chosen hospital and sent me a copy. I received excellent care throughout my appointment and the whole experience was reassuringly efficient. I do not hesitate to recommend the Orpington Eyecare Centre which I have already recommended to a friend.

    Very welcoming and professional service. Good experience during my visits. I needed new lenses in my existing frames. First attempt did not work but 2nd set were spot on. Had to wait 4 weeks to get my glasses finally upgraded with new lenses but I was fortunate to have a 2nd pair. Despite this minor set back, I would definitely recommend this optician for their expertise and courtesy. I was a new customer and, for any future visits, I expect that they will know my requirements and provide perfect lenses first time around. No hesitation in returning in the future.
