First time I’ve been to Orpington Eyecare and it was an excellent experience. Got an appointment really quickly, the staff were very friendly and welcoming and the shop was not busy, which made me feel at ease. I’ve had 4 months of irritated eyes and have seen various medical professionals, with no improvement until now. Mr Patel got to the bottom of the problem and prescribed the necessary. 10 out of 10, have already recommended to family. Thank you!

My 7 year old Son has been to quite a few opticians already but I have to say he felt so comfortable and happy here, he looks forward to coming for his eye tests and to see his eye doctor! Lovely place and lovely people.

I have a problem with one of my eyes of which I was very worried about. I initially contacted another optician that I've been with for a number of years, only to be told that next avaliable appointment was in December. I then contacted Orpington Eyecare Centre. I was offered a telephone consultation with Mr Patel. After various in depth questions and answers, Mr Patel concluded and put my mind at rest with a diagnosis. I forwarded some photographs of my eye,via email, in which I received a prompt response confirming same. Mr Patel answered all my questions in great detail and care. I would like to take this opportunity in thanking The Orpington Eyecare Centre, and will definitely recommend them to my family and friends. Well organised, friendly and professional opticians. My first encounter with them was via an emergency appointment. My daughter (aged 8) managed to get some grit in her eyes while walking down the high street and it was quite painful as, understandably she kept rubbing her eyes. After visiting 2 local health care providers who both refused to see her as we didn’t have an appointment, we came across Orpington Eyecare centre and the owner thankfully fitted us in immediately in between patients. Mr Patel is a brilliant practitioner with dedicated, caring staff. We will be using this opticians going forward. This is an independent opticians and the quality of care is evident. I highly recommend.

Everything I expected and more! Excellent examination and care.

I have just changed to this optician from one of the chains. Very calm and thorough treatment. I felt confident. I could not transfer from my wheelchair to the seat but my eyes were tested while I remained in my chair so this was not a problem. Good selection of frames. I am happy to have changed. Parking is easier too.
