  Very welcoming and professional service. Good experience during my visits. I needed new lenses in my existing frames. First attempt did not work but 2nd set were spot on. Had to wait 4 weeks to get my glasses finally upgraded with new lenses but I was fortunate to have a 2nd pair. Despite this minor set back, I would definitely recommend this optician for their expertise and courtesy. I was a new customer and, for any future visits, I expect that they will know my requirements and provide perfect lenses first time around. No hesitation in returning in the future.

  The eye test was extremely thorough and the optician took care in providing information and asking questions. The front-of-house customer service was personable and excellent and the high quality range of frames and lenses available allows a wide choice of styles to suit all.

  I have a problem with one of my eyes of which I was very worried about. I initially contacted another optician that I've been with for a number of years, only to be told that next avaliable appointment was in December. I then contacted Orpington Eyecare Centre. I was offered a telephone consultation with Mr Patel. After various in depth questions and answers, Mr Patel concluded and put my mind at rest with a diagnosis. I forwarded some photographs of my eye,via email, in which I received a prompt response confirming same. Mr Patel answered all my questions in great detail and care. I would like to take this opportunity in thanking The Orpington Eyecare Centre, and will definitely recommend them to my family and friends.   Took my 3 year old son for a check up as other opticians wouldn’t see him as he’s too young. He was made to feel at ease and treated super nice while doing the test. My son came out happy and enjoy the visit and everything went great.

  Well organised, friendly and professional opticians. My first encounter with them was via an emergency appointment. My daughter (aged 8) managed to get some grit in her eyes while walking down the high street and it was quite painful as, understandably she kept rubbing her eyes. After visiting 2 local health care providers who both refused to see her as we didn’t have an appointment, we came across Orpington Eyecare centre and the owner thankfully fitted us in immediately in between patients. Mr Patel is a brilliant practitioner with dedicated, caring staff. We will be using this opticians going forward. This is an independent opticians and the quality of care is evident. I highly recommend.

  I have been a patient at Orpington Eye Care for several years, and can thoroughly recommend them. My contact lens and eye checks are always carried out efficiently by Nishit Patel, and any questions are always answered with clear explanations. The practise is scrupulous with regard to Covid precautions and I have always found the staff to be helpful and courteous.

  Fantastic optician - Nish and the team provide great wraparound care, and everything from the thorough eye tests to the efficient admin provides excellent service. Particularly recommended if you have small children (who are entitled to free eye tests on the NHS). Nish is very good at putting them at their ease and making the experience relaxing and fun. Highly recommended.
