I must thoroughly recommend this service. The whole experience from booking an appointment, through the eye test, to selecting and finally picking up my new prescription spectacles has been highly professional, courteous and friendly. I have worn spectacles for over 60 years and the eye test was probably the most thorough I have ever had and no time was spared discussing my sight and needs with the optician and dispensing optician. Excellent service front to back. So much better than any of the big brands

Lovely practice with superb professional Optician and Staff to support. I really love the personal touch of the practice eg they know who all the clients are and by name, other chains do not have that. And because they are independent, their treatment offerings are quick different too. You never feel rushed either. I would recommend to any one and wouldn’t go back to a chain again. I’ve been s customer for over 4 years now and feel very safe with CoVid adaptions

The best optician and new glasses experience I have ever had. Very professional all the way through the process. Excellent advice regarding choice of frames and lens type resulting in a very great pair of glasses even tho I have a complex prescription. Because of my prescription new glasses can be a bit disappointing but not these, they are superb. Thank you!

Updated review. 28th January 2026. Today was my two year check up. As always the staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. Dr Patel was excellent with the eye test and explaining everything. Once again excellent service 7th May. It was just a small issue with my glasses, but as always were well treated and looked after my staff. Can never fault the service or the politeness of the staff Dr Patel and his staff are brilliant. They handled my cancelled booking with care. I like that you get a text reminder the day before your appointment. Would fully recommend for eye tests

Fantastic opticians. The eye tests are very thorough and the advice on the latest eyewear tech is second to none. The miyosmart lenses recommended for my daughter have made a real difference — her prescription has barely changed since. The whole team are friendly and professional, and they make every visit enjoyable for my daughters. Wouldn’t go anywhere else!
