  • I suffer from dry eyes and blepharitis. After doing some research, I came across IPL ( Intense pulsed light) and after 2 sessions at a different clinic, I set up an appointment with Orpington Eyecare centre, where I had another 2 sessions. Mr Patel answered my many questions patiently and he offered advice on how to alleviate the symptoms of blepharitis and dry eyes. He also gave me a lot of advice on which eyedrops to use, which tablets to take and how to use a wand for dry eyes. I felt the treatment I received from Dr Patel, including the IPL sessions, was more thorough than at the first clinic and that he used better equipment to assess and treat me including radio frequency technology. The lady at the reception is also very sweet.

    Excellent experience and very customer oriented optician . Both my son and I got new pair of glasses and we received our glasses them very quickly. More importantly Nishit was brilliant , answered all our questions and very thorough, spend more time than usual explaining everything . Worth the money for quality experience, porcine and service , recommend anyone who need new glasses or eye test , go to your local private optician as Orpington Eye care . 5 stars ⭐️

    Well organised, friendly and professional opticians. My first encounter with them was via an emergency appointment. My daughter (aged 8) managed to get some grit in her eyes while walking down the high street and it was quite painful as, understandably she kept rubbing her eyes. After visiting 2 local health care providers who both refused to see her as we didn’t have an appointment, we came across Orpington Eyecare centre and the owner thankfully fitted us in immediately in between patients. Mr Patel is a brilliant practitioner with dedicated, caring staff. We will be using this opticians going forward. This is an independent opticians and the quality of care is evident. I highly recommend.

  • Very good practice. As an Optician I found Mr Patel very professional and felt that he cared about my concerns answering my questions during the eye test. I also have to say that I am quite surprised at the quality of the lenses compared to my previous ones. My old glasses were always getting smeared and I kept on cleaning them but this doesn’t happen with my new equipment! Way better quality than my previous Optician.

    Amazing experience. I saw 2 opticians before moving to Orpington and attending Orpington Eyecare center. The other opticians gave me drops to treat my symptoms, without much success. Orpington Eyecare did a thorough examination and gave me treatment for the SOURCE of my problem. Within 3 days I was feeling better than I had in months. Also a very fast service. I was able to get an appointment the day I called and was seen within 5 minutes of arriving.
